The guys were very nice the hike was just challenging enough. Lunch was terrific. Learning about the plants at the top of the mountain was cool too.

La Chorrera Waterfall Hike

At 8:30 am we'll meet at The Cranky Croc Hostel in Bogotá to set off on our excursion to the La Chorrera Adventure Park. Before we go, we'll enjoy a hearty breakfast in the La Candelaria neighbourhood.

Then we'll set off on an hour's bus journey into the Colombian forest. When we arrive, we'll begin our hike to the magnificent La Chorrera waterfall - the highest in the country! We'll spend around two and a half hours exploring this spectacular natural area and breathing in its fresh air.

At the end of the trip, we'll hop on the bus and head back to Bogotá, arriving by around 2 pm to finish off the day with a delicious meal of traditional dishes.

The trip will end at 4 pm back at the starting point.
