At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Plazoleta del Chorro de Quevedo to begin a comprehensive bike tour of Bogotá's historic centre. Would you like to discover the city while exercising? You'll have a great time!
During the 3-hour tour, we'll explore the main streets and stop at iconic places, including Independence Park, one of the oldest parks in Bogotá, which commemorates the first centenary of independence.
Nearby, we'll find the Bogotá Planetarium and the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art (MAMBO). Next, we'll arrive at Plaza de Bolívar, home to the capital's most important monuments, such as the Primada Cathedral, the National Capitol, and the Mayor's Office. In this part of the tour, we'll learn all about Colombia's colonial past.
Bogotá is also considered one of the best cities in Latin America for cycling, so your experience during the tour will be most enjoyable.
We'll cycle along Calle 72 to Carrera Séptima, where we'll see the Four Seasons Casa Medina and discover the European influence on the architecture of Chapinero. We'll also pass by some of the city's most important private universities before reaching the Bogotá International Centre.
In the final stretch of the tour, we'll pass through Enrique Olaya Herrera National Park, a place that boasts of being an open-air museum. We'll continue on to Parkway Boulevard, a beautiful tree-lined avenue in the La Soledad neighbourhood.
