What better way to understand the evolution of species than in a park full of animals? Come and visit the Vivarium del Caribe on this excursion from Cartagena.
Vivarium del Caribe Park Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at your hotel in Cartagena de Indias to board the minibus that will take us to the Vivarium del Caribe Park.
For the past five years, this park aims to raise awareness of the evolution of species through the conservation and care of Colombian fauna.
During this three-and-a-half-hour tour through the Vivarium del Caribe, we'll see different animals such as crocodiles, reptiles, fish, and invertebrates in their natural habitat. These species will allow us to learn how they evolve in different environments and how they have changed over time.
If you have trouble picturing what primitive wildlife looked like, don't worry. The park has an exhibition of life-like recreations in cement that'll give us the chance to learn more about the evolution process that crocodiles and birds have gone through since the time of the dinosaurs.
After spending between 5 and 5.5 hours uncovering the secrets of evolution, we’ll be back at your hotel in Cartagena de Indias.
