Tierra Bomba Kayak Tour
We'll meet at 7 am on the beach of Castillo Grande, where we'll give you a brief safety briefing.
We'll then embark on a kayak tour of the Colombian Caribbean, covering 28 kilometres (17 miles) in approximately 5 to 6 hours, but don't worry, we'll be making several stops along the way!
First of all, after leaving the coast of Cartagena de Indias behind, we'll paddle to the paradisiacal island of Tierra Bomba. As soon as we reach the shore of this enclave, we'll stop for 40 minutes at Las Monjas beach.
After resting on this sandy beach, we'll continue paddling along the coastline of Tierra Bomba to Bocachica. In this town, located at the southern tip of the island, we'll stop for an hour and a half to visit the Fort San Fernando, built by the Spaniards in the 17th century.
At the end of the visit to this fort, we'll return to the kayaks to sail to the north coast of Tierra Bomba. In this area of the island is the town of Punta Arenas, where we'll enjoy a tasty lunch in a restaurant. The menu includes grilled fish or chicken, whichever you prefer.
After lunch, we'll rest in Punta Arenas and start the return trip to the meeting point, where we'll arrive between 4 pm and 4:30 pm.
