Tour Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Cartagena at the time indicated, we'll head out on a 1-hour 15-minute journey to the Baru Peninsula. Along the way, we'll pass the towns of Mamonal, Ararca and Santana. From here, we'll board a boat and travel to one of the Rosario Islands.
Once we arrive at Isla Grande, we'll spend about 20 minutes preparing to snorkel and give you a brief talk about respecting the environment and the importance of the marine ecosystem. We'll tell you about the importance of coral reefs and the conservation efforts made for marine sustainability in this region.
Next, we'll board a speed boat and explore the coral reefs of Isla Grande for 35 minutes and then enjoy a 40-minute snorkelling activity. Are you ready to explore the spectacular marine sea bed?
Afterwards, we'll go to the town of Orika, a community of African-palanquero origin located on Isla Grande.
