In this rum and chocolate tasting, we'll sample spirits and sweets that awaken the senses. Savor notes from the oldest to the youngest rums!
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Convention Center shopping arcade, where we'll experience a full immersion into the flavors and aromas of Cartagena!
First up, we'll start the experience with a selection of aged rums, carefully chosen to offer you a unique range of profiles. From young rums to aged reserves up to 27 years old, each with unique nuances and textures. We'll taste at least 8 varieties, a true celebration of the richness of this distillate.
The pairing of the rums will match their quality. For this, we'll taste 6 artisanal Colombian chocolates with cocoa notes from 43% to 80% and cardamom and rum bonbons, which will enhance the character and flavor in every sip. All chocolates offered during the tasting are from the department of Bolívar and are completely artisanal, guaranteeing their authenticity, local origin, and exceptional quality.
Plus, with our tasting, we'll also enjoy carefully selected appetizers to complement the experience, such as sautéed sweet peppers, cheese, and meatball carimañolas, fish croquettes, vegetarian empanadas or vegetable baskets.
And it won't just be about tasting, but about travelling through time and space through stories. We'll take you back to the time of pirates and rum merchants, narrating anecdotes and legends that will add a touch of excitement to this experience. We'll learn about the history, the aging process, and the traditions behind each bottle.
Finally, after 1 hour and 45 minutes, we'll bring the activity full of flavor to an end.
