Explore the white sandy beaches of the Colombian Caribbean with this kayak tour of Punta Arena, located on the island paradise of Tierra Bomba.
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Castillo Grande beach, where we'll give you some brief instructions on how to handle the kayaks. Once we have a handle on the basics, we'll put on our safety equipment and get out on the water!
We'll set off from Castillo Grande and paddle through the waters of the Colombian Caribbean on a 4-mile (6.5km) route along the beautiful coast of Cartagena de Indias.
Little by little we'll begin to make out our destination: the island of Tierra Bomba. We'll approach Punta Arena, one of the fabulous white sandy beaches of Tierra Bomba, to admire its beautiful island landscapes. While we paddle, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Cartagena de Indias from the kayak. What better way to see the city from a different perspective!
After an hour paddling, we'll disembark at Punta Arena, where we'll enjoy a snack to refuel. The snack will include juice, fruit, and a bottle of water.
You'll have approximately 45 minutes of free time on the island of Tierra Bomba. You can continue paddling around the area or just relax and enjoy the beach before we kayak back to Castillo Grande beach.
After 3.5 hours of kayaking, we'll finish the tour and say our goodbyes back at the starting point.
