Outdoor Adventure in Cartagena
After picking you up from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias we'll head to our secure take-off point. Ready to take to the skies above Cartagena? Let's go!
Upon arrival at our launch point, our instructor will give us a safety briefing as we learn the ins and outs of this two-seater vehicle. Then, it's time to climb aboard and buckle in for a thrilling flight over the Colombian city! The instructor will be in charge of piloting the vehicle at all times, so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the views.
As we soar over the northern side of Cartagena, soak up the breathtaking bird's eye views of Colombia's pristine beaches and natural landscapes. Be sure to have your camera ready! After an exciting 10 minutes in the clouds, with the wind in our hair, we'll touch down, our mind's eye full of breathtaking scenery.
The fun doesn't stop here, though! Next up on our itinerary is a kayaking tour through the nearby mangroves of Cartagena. Alongside our guide, we'll paddle through the main types of mangroves often found in this region. Our guide will also point out different flora and fauna that thrive here, as we learn about this unique ecosystem.
From here, we'll kayak up to Isla del Pescador for a well-deserved lunch, where you can choose between chicken, pork, or mojarra, a traditional style of Colombian fried fish, as your main dish. Paired with patacón, traditional fried plantains, a side of rice and coconut, and a fresh salad, we're in for a delicious meal!
Following our satisfying meal, we'll kayak back to our launch point, from where we'll take you back to your hotel, dropping you off after an enriching 8 hours of adventure.
