In this beginner scuba diving lesson in Cartagena de Indias, you'll learn how to do a fun and exciting sport in complete safety. You'll also explore the Colombian Caribbean's colourful seabed.
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Blanca Baru Beach to start our beginner scuba diving lesson in Cartagena.
We'll begin by discussing some theory so you can learn how to move underwater before hopping on a boat that'll take us to our diving area.
Time to dive! We'll spend 35 minutes scuba diving in the Caribbean Sea while keeping our eyes peeled for lobsters and turtles. As we swim, we'll spot shoals of colourful tropical fish swimming among the rocks and corals.
Afterwards, we'll get back on the boat and head to Tranquila Beach. We'll relax on the sand and take a dip before lunch. Our lunch will consist of a main course of your choice between mojarra fish, chicken breast, pork or a vegetarian option accompanied by salads and a drink.
It'll then be time to take you to your hotel in Cartagena, where we'll arrive 7.5 to 8 hours later.
This activity includes pickup from hotels in Bocagrande, El Laguito and Castillogrande. If your hotel isn't located in one of these places, we'll pick you up from the Juan Valdez Café at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Centre.
Children from 2 to 12 years old can participate in the activity by snorkelling, but not diving.
