We'll pick you up from your hotel in Villavicencio at 7 am and head towards Mesetas, about three hours' drive away. Are you ready to be amazed by the famous Santo Domingo waterfall?
During the journey, we'll be able to contemplate some of the most beautiful landscapes of Colombia. We'll tell you about the various wildlife that inhabits this natural space. Keep your eyes peeled, if you're lucky you might be able to spot one of the more than 500 species of birds that fly over the area.
Before starting the hike, we'll have breakfast to give us lots of energy for the day ahead. Once we arrive at Salto de Santo Domingo, you'll have free time to rest on the shore and breathe the fresh air of the Sierra de la Macarena.
Did you know that this waterfall is more than 100 metres (328 feet) high? It also has a wide beach and lots of natural pools, where you can take a refreshing dip!
Weather permitting, we'll take a break for lunch surrounded by this wonderful landscape. You can choose between a chicken, meat or vegetarian dish, as well as a drink. Delicious!
Finally, we'll finish the excursion by dropping you off at your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
