Make the most of your time in Santorini with this day trip for cruise passengers. You'll have the chance to explore the volcanic sands of Kamari, the iconic charm of Oia, and the lively capital of Fira at your own pace!
Tour Details
At the designated time, you'll meet your guide at the Santorini Old Harbor, where you'll board a private boat to Athinios Port. During this 30-minute boat ride, you'll enjoy the scenic views of the cliffs of Santorini, covered in petrified lava. Once we arrive at the port, a comfortable, air-conditioned bus will await to begin your adventure across the island.
After an approximately 20-minute drive, we'll reach Kamari, famous for its beach with black volcanic sand. Here, you'll have around 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to take a dip in the Aegean Sea, relax in a seaside café, or stroll along the promenade and enjoy the dramatic volcanic scenery.
Next, we'll travel for about 40 minutes across the island to the cliffside village of Oia, Santorini's most photographed village. You'll have 1.5 hours of free time to wander around its winding alleys, check out the local boutiques, and take beautiful photos of the blue-domed churches overlooking the caldera.
Afterward, we'll hop on the bus for a 25-minute drive to Fira, the lively capital of Santorini. The guide will lead you to the Orthodox Metropolitan Church, just a 15-minute walk away, to show you the way back to the old port and say goodbye after a total of 5 hours and 15 minutes together. From here, you can decide whether to return directly to your ship or stay in town for longer to shop, eat, and explore.
