At the indicated time, we'll meet next to the restaurant Exterminio, in the Rodadero area. Once we're all together, we'll begin this fun party bus ride around Santa Marta. Let the fun begin!
Did you know that these colourful buses emerged in the early 20th century to meet the need for transport in rural Colombia? These vehicles became popular for their ability to travel on difficult roads and for being a means of collective transport connecting towns and villages. Over time, and especially in tourist destinations, they became known as “chivas rumberas”, to be used for festive tours.
During the 2-hour tour, we'll drive through the main streets of El Rodadero area while Caribbean music plays at full volume on the dance floor aboard the bus. The neon-coloured strobe lights will also add a touch of fun to the route, as you'll feel like you're in a moving disco with a smoke machine—you'll want to dance the night away!
We'll drive along the bay of Santa Marta to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. We'll also approach the iconic statue of Pibe Valderrama, an icon of Colombian football, who was born in this city. To put the perfect finishing touch to the experience, we'll toast with a beer. Cheers!
Finally, we'll pass by the bar Kini Licores and return to the departure point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 2 hours.
