At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta and begin this day trip to the Katanzama Indigenous Refuge, home of the Arhuaca village.
Once we arrive, after 1.5 hours of traveling, we'll explore this area, filled with vegetation, alongside the leader of the village, who will explain all about the inhabitants' daily life. We'll see the ceremonial houses, walk on the beach, and admire the center of spirituality: the sacred tree.
Then, we'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch in the area of the Don Diego River. After lunch, we'll head to the shore for an exciting activity. Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping tubing experience as you admire beautiful landscapes!
This fun activity will take you to glide smoothly through the river on inflatable tubes. The currents will guide us gently toward the river mouth in the Caribbean Sea, where you'll see the transition between fresh and salt waters. It'll be an unforgettable experience!
To complete the activity, you'll have time to relax on the calm beaches and enjoy the coastal landscapes. Feeling relaxed and unwinded, we'll then board the speedboat and sail upstream to the vehicle to return to Santa Marta.
Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel 8 hours after the activity began.
