Once we pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta, we’ll head to one of the most unique protected areas in northern Colombia: Tayrona National Natural Park.
Once there, we’ll explore its lush, green tropical forests on a hiking trail. This approximately 25-minute walk will give us a close-up look at the environmental richness of this ecosystem. Do you know how many different species of local flora and fauna it is home to?
Our final destination will be the coastal town of Buritaca. Located at the mouth of the river of the same name, this Caribbean town is home to a paradise-like beach. There, you’ll have free time to swim in the ocean and enjoy a meal at one of its restaurants.
In the afternoon, we’ll make our way back to Santa Marta and take you back to your accommodations to conclude the trip.
