Snowshoes have been used by the Lappish population for centuries. This way of moving through the snow has become a great sport to enjoy in Rovaniemi. Ready to try it?
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the selected time and set off on a 20-minute drive to reach our snow trekking destination. Once we're kitted out, we'll start walking among the pine and fir trees. We'll follow the guide on a trek and enjoy the silence and peacefulness of this snowy landscape as we breathe in the purest, freshest air in the world.
When we start to feel the cold we'll make a stop to start a bonfire and enjoy its warmth with a hot drink as well as some sausages and biscuits.
Our polar adventure will end three hours later at your hotel in Rovaniemi.
This activity includes pickup for hotels located within a 5 miles (8 km) ratio of the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is further away, we'll contact you to establish an alternative meeting point.
