On this trip to Ranua Wildlife Park, we'll leave Rovaniemi behind and head deep into the beautiful Arctic nature. There are more than 50 amazing animal species, including the only polar bears in Finland, to be discovered.
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or a place nearby, and leave Rovaniemi behind as we head to the Ranua Wildlife Park, 1 hour away from the town.
Once there, we'll take a 1.5-mile walk to discover the wonderful Arctic environment. Did you know that this wildlife park is home to 50 different species? As we make our way along the trail, we'll meet some of these amazing creatures, including polar bears.
At the Ranua Wildlife Park, you'll encounter animals thriving in their natural polar habitats, such as Arctic foxes and wolves. During the tour, besides seeing around 50 different species, children can ride the trail in a sled, just like Santa Claus!
The trip to this fantastic open-air zoo is the ideal way to immerse yourself in an Arctic winter wonderland with your family. This is the northernmost zoo in Finland and the second in the world.
Before heading back to Rovaniemi, we'll sit down for a delicious buffet lunch to round off our experience and eat in a beautiful natural environment.
Finally, we'll return to Rovaniemi and drop you at your hotel after a total of around 5 to 6 hours.
This trip includes pickup from numerous hotels in downtown Rovaniemi, which you'll see during the booking process. If your hotel isn't on the list of places where we offer pickup, we'll offer you an alternative meeting point.
