If you're visiting Rovaniemi, there's something you can't miss out on: the Northern Lights. We'll go looking for them on an incredible snowmobile ride.
Northern Lights Snowmobile Ride
Do you want to enjoy one of nature's most incredible light shows? On this tour, we'll go in search of the aurora borealis. Are you ready for a snowmobile adventure?
To enjoy this unique experience, we'll pick you up at 7:30 pm from your hotel in Rovaniemi and head to the Arctic Circle. Once we're ready, we'll hop on our snowmobiles and set off on our tour of the polar forests. We'll spend an hour and a half zooming through these peaceful, icy forests.
You'll be amazed by the beauty of the deep night sky and the glinting of the stars that guide us across the landscape. If the weather is good, we'll cross the Vikajärvi Lake and arrive at an open space where we'll be able to admire the famous Northern Lights. You'll be enraptured as you watch the colours dancing in the sky above you. What an experience!
After marvelling at this incomparable natural wonder, we'll warm up with a warm drink and some cookies for approximately 1.5 hours. At the end of the tour, we'll head back to the hotels in Rovaniemi, where we'll conclude this 3.5-hour activity.

Pickup is from the designated hotels in the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is further away, we'll contact you to propose an alternative meeting point.
Additional Info
Please bear in mind that, as the northern lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot always guarantee that the Aurora Borealis will be visible on this tour.
Children Requirements
Children under 140 cm (4'5”) must sit with an adult on a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Children over 140 cm (4'5”) can sit on the snowmobile behind the driver if they pay full price as adults.
