Are you in Porto and love wine? We'll meet at the entrance to the Igreja de Lapa and head into the heart of the Vinho Verde region to visit Quinta da Aveleda, one of the leading wine tourism destinations in northern Portugal.
After a 30-minute minibus ride, we'll arrive at this renowned winery in Penafiel. Quinta da Aveleda is a place full of tradition, charm, and authenticity that has made it one of the most important wineries in the Vinho Verde region. Once there, we'll set off on a tour of the estate, where centuries of history blend seamlessly into the rural landscape.
We'll explore the lush vineyards of Quinta da Aveleda and discover how, generation after generation, the pursuit of winemaking excellence has earned the estate well-deserved international recognition. We'll also visit the buildings that make up the estate, learning about their history and connection to the Aveleda family.
To round off the experience in the best possible way, we'll enjoy a tasting of 3 wines from the Albariño and Loureiro varieties, the perfect finishing touch to this journey through the Vinho Verde region.
Finally, we'll head back to the starting point in Porto, wrapping up this 5-hour tour.
