Activity Details
We'll meet at the workshop to start this creative experience. We'll start with a brief and interesting introduction about the history of azulejos, its origins, and the crucial role it has played in the architectural and cultural identity of Porto and Lisbon throughout the centuries.
Led by professional artists, you'll receive a white ceramic piece. You can choose between an exclusive selection of traditional patterns, documented directly from the streets of Porto, or let your imagination run freely by creating an original design. Don't worry about technique—we'll show you everything needed so the activity is accessible and fun, whether or not you have previous experience.
As you paint and socialize, you can relax by enjoying a selection of sweet and savory snacks, accompanied by Porto wine, juice, water, or coffee. It's the perfect combination!
After 2 hours, we'll put our pieces in the oven. The firing process takes an additional 30 to 60 minutes. During this time, you can wait in the shop or come back later to pick up your personalized souvenir, ready to decorate your home.
