At the indicated time, we'll meet next to the Fountain of Neptune at the Piazza del Municipio. From this point, we'll begin a guided tour of Naples that'll lead us to delve into the noble and elegant past of the capital of Campania whilst admiring some of its most iconic monuments.
After seeing the Naples City Hall building, we'll walk towards the Castel Nuovo, whose origins date back to the 13th century. We'll talk about the numerous sackings and battles that this building has withstood and we'll reveal some legends about its dungeons. We'll admire its great triumphal arch and explain its links with European royal houses.
The next stop on the tour will be in front of the St. Charles Theater. We'll look at its Neoclassical façade and recall the great fire the building faced back in 1816. We'll continue traveling back in time, specifically to the Belle Époque, seeing representative examples of this era such as the Umberto I Gallery, a luxury fashion and restaurant mall, or the Gambrinus cafe.
