We'll pick you up at 8 am at your hotel in Manizales to start this avocado tour, one of Colombia's main export products.
For this, we'll visit an agro-ecological farm, to learn curiosities about this popular fruit and its cultivation. During the visit, we'll reveal what this farm does to be recognized with the certificate of Good Environmental Practices.
We'll take a tour of the Hass avocado plantations, a variety originally from California. We'll also get to know different types of avocado grown in Colombia, such as Papelillo, Santana, Semil or Choquette, which you will also be able to taste.
After the visit, we'll do an activity with which you'll have a great time, a guacamole workshop. We'll learn how to make this delicious creamy sauce, whose main ingredient is avocado, in the traditional way. Afterwards, we'll enjoy the fantastic taste of avocado tasting the guacamole we have prepared.
When the workshop ends we'll take you back to Manizales, leaving you at your hotel at 3 pm.
