Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at La Playita, just a few minutes from the center of the town of Isla Fuerte. This island is known for its crystal-clear waters, calm beaches, and its astounding marine ecosystem. It's the perfect environment for your first scuba diving experience!
We'll begin the activity with a theoretical introduction on dry land, where a certified PADI instructor will explain how the equipment works, how to breathe underwater, and which are the basic signs of underwater communication. This session will allow you to gain courage and ask any questions you have before getting into the water.
Then, we'll practice in shallow water so you're familiar with the breathing technique and movement under the water. Here, you'll learn how to use the equipment safely and get familiar with the feelings of scuba diving, like the floatability and the breathing rhythm.
Once we're ready, we'll board a speedboat that will take us to a nearby reef. During the two dives, where we'll reach a maximum depth of 39 ft (12 m), you'll be fascinated by the underwater world of the Colombian Caribbean. Tropical fish, spectacularly colorful coral, and other species will greet you under the sea. It'll be a fascinating experience!
Finally, we'll return to La Playita on a speedboat and say our goodbyes after a total of 2.5 to 3 hours.
