Tour Details
We'll meet up at the designated time at the Tourist Office in Épernay. From this central point, we'll travel by minibus along the central Avenue de Champagne, where you'll see the sculpture of Dom Pérignon.
We'll then take you to Le Clos Corbier, where we'll board our bicycles. Then, we'll cycle through the local UNESCO-recognized vineyards on an electric bike and head to the village of Hautvillers. Here, the remains of Dom Pérignon lie in the church, and you'll find out why this 17th-century monk revolutionized the production of champagne!
Do you know how the grapes used to produce sparkling wine are grown? We'll cycle to Le Clos COrbier, a local family winery to see how this drink is produced and taste three homemade champagnes.
At the end of the electric bike tour, we'll head to the winery's country house, where a delicious traditional French lunch will be waiting for us. This will consist of homemade regional specialities accompanied by champagne: pâté, quiche, lentils, cheeses, rose de Reims biscuits... It will be delicious!
After eating, the tour will end by returning to the starting point in Épernay, arriving after approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes.
