Did you know that the Lukács Spa dates back to the Middle Ages? This spectacular thermal complex was constructed next to the monasteries of the Knights of St. John to cure the sick in the 12th century.
The name pays tribute to Dr. Miklos Lukácz, who discovered the therapeutic benefits of the thermal waters in the late 1800s. With your ticket, you can enjoy a day of pampering and care for your body in these thermal waters rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and sulphur.
During your visit, you'll have a choice of a variety of saunas and steam rooms, each with its own unique atmosphere and benefits. You can swim in the heated outdoor pools at temperatures ranging from 21 to 49 degrees Celsius.
You can also try some traditional Hungarian treatments while you gaze at the spectacular architecture of this historic marble-slabbed building. Can you think of a better way to relax?
The Lukács Spa opens daily from 7 am to 7 pm. Final admission is an hour before closing time.
Please keep in mind that on Tuesday and Wednesday, the steam bath area closes at 8 pm.
