Budapest Sightseeing Bus

Budapest’s sightseeing bus tour offers visitors one route with over 20 stops. Explore the city’s most beautiful landmarks and neighbourhoods on board an open-top double-decker bus. While you admire the panoramic views, learn about the capital’s history and monuments with your individual headset with pre-recorded commentary in English or 24 other languages.

During the booking process, you'll be able to choose between 1, 2, or 3-day tickets. You decide!

How It Works

Tickets are valid for 1, 2 or 3 consecutive days from the first time you use it. For example, if you purchase a 2-day ticket and activate it on Monday at 3 pm, it’ll be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. During its validity, you can hop on and off as many times as you wish.

Although when making the reservation, you'll be asked for a start date, you can use the service over the two weeks following the start date. You must validate your ticket when boarding the bus at any of its stops.

Danube River Cruise & Guided Visit

Your ticket for the tourist bus also includes a 30% discount for the cruise on the Danube River. Departing from pier 6, this boat trip will allow you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Parliament, the Chain Bridge, and the Buda Castle. You'll also learn lots of interesting facts about the monuments thanks to the boat's audio guide.

You can also go on a guided visit, in English, around Budapest's old quarter. The guided visit lasts 1 hour, departs from the Basilica stop, and finishes at Chain Bridge.

Red line: daily departures from 10 am to 5 pm, every 20 minutes
Cruise through the Danube: daily departures every hour between 11 am and 5 pm
