Adrenaline and excitement come together on this excursion to Xplorer Park, a journey from Bucaramanga to the heart of San Gil, Colombia’s adventure tourism capital. You’ll take on 38 rope challenges above the valley!
Day Trip Details
Early in the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Bucaramanga and set off on a journey of approximately three hours to Pinchote, very close to San Gil. There, an adrenaline-filled adventure awaits at Xplorer Park.
We’ll start the excursion with a traditional breakfast served on board the vehicle. You’ll enjoy a typical Colombian breakfast with beef rib broth or eggs, arepa or bread, a protein option, and a hot drink of your choice: chocolate, coffee, or tea.
Upon arrival, certified guides will provide the technical instructions. Once equipped with harnesses, helmets, and safety systems, it’ll be time to begin the yellow circuit at Xplorer Park, a roughly 6.5-hour course that will test your skill and balance across 38 thrilling challenges.
We’ll start by gliding along a network of zip lines and then cross hanging bridges that sway with the wind. And that’s just the beginning! Next, we’ll move through suspended tunnels, descend by rappel, and try the Tarzan jump, where vertigo quickly turns into pure excitement.
Each challenge will feel like a personal victory, filling you with energy and satisfaction. The experience culminates at the Xplorer viewpoint, a natural balcony where we’ll capture incredible photos and enjoy a moment of calm.
When it’s time to refuel, we’ll take a 1-hour break to enjoy lunch at the park’s restaurant, surrounded by ecological areas and relaxing spaces. The menu includes chicken or beef with the house sauce, sautéed vegetables, potatoes, and drinks such as passion fruit juice or lemonade.
Finally, we’ll begin the journey back to your hotel, where we’ll say goodbye after a total excursion time of approximately 14 to 15.5 hours.
