Early in the morning, we'll pick you up from your selected hotel and set off on a road trip in search of Moraine Lake, nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Are you ready to fall in love with the scenery?
During the 1 hour and 45-minute drive, we'll tell you fun facts about the Alberta province's natural beauty. We'll arrive at Moraine Lake before sunrise, where we'll see the mountains reflected in the water—a hypnotic sight!
When we get out of the vehicle, we'll give you a hot drink, a headlamp and blankets to protect you from the cold of the morning. We'll settle in and wait anxiously for the moment when the first ray of light hits the water, revealing its intense turquoise colour.
Afterwards, we'll provide you with trekking poles and climb up to the Rockpile viewpoint, from where we'll enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view. Did you know that it's known as the "twenty dollar view"?
At the top, we'll give you 2 hours free time to explore at your own pace. We recommend walking along the trails and discovering unique angles to take the necessary photos. Every moment will be an opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in the serenity of this natural enclave.
Finally, we'll reconvene for the return journey—what a way to start the day!
Can you imagine the experience of admiring the starry sky over Moraine Lake? It's time to make this dream come true! In this option, upon arrival at the lake, we'll be welcomed with a hot drink and have 1.5 hours of free time to admire the sunset over the landscape.
Afterwards, we'll go to a strategic and isolated point to spend an hour stargazing. Once settled, we'll give you a head torch, binoculars and telescopes. We'll admire the Ten Peaks as the constellations begin to appear in the sky.
With a little bit of luck, and if the sky is completely clear, we may even be able to spot the Northern Lights on the horizon. Did you know that Moraine Lake is one of the best places in the world to see the stars? This is because there is almost no light pollution in this enclave, which offers a perfect view of the night sky.
After this unforgettable experience and with a camera full of photos, we'll set off on our return journey.
