Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet near the Blue Bay Resort hotel, where the quads we’ll be riding through Agia Pelagia will be waiting for us. Are you ready? Let’s go!
Before we set off, we’ll provide you with the necessary equipment, including a helmet, and give you a safety briefing along with a brief driving practice session so you can get familiar with the vehicles. With that out of the way, we’ll start with a coastal route to warm up and enjoy the beautiful ocean views.
Throughout the tour, we’ll combine driving on rural roads, hills, and off-road trails through the mountains. Our first stop will be at a traditional olive oil mill, where we’ll learn about olive oil production techniques, from ancient Minoan and Byzantine methods to modern production. We’ll also enjoy a delicious tasting of olive oil and honey.
We’ll return to the quads and ride along dirt roads and through olive groves until we reach a ghost town frozen in time. We’ll take a guided walking tour of this fascinating place, surrounded by stunning mountainous scenery, and stop at lookouts to take in the views of the coast and the hills.
Our third and final stop will be in the charming traditional village of Fodele, famous for being the birthplace of the painter El Greco. In this village, where art blends with history, you’ll have free time to stroll around and explore the local shops.
Finally, we’ll head back to the starting point, bringing the activity to a close after a total of 3.5 hours.
