Join us to go snowshoeing through the forests of Ylläsjärvi in search of the northern lights, a unique and fun way to see the impressive natural phenomenon!
At 8 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ylläsjärvi and drive to the outskirts of the Finnish town. As daylight begins to fade, we'll get ready for our unique and exciting activity: snowshoeing under the Northern Lights!
We'll put on our snowshoes and learn the basics of walking with these accessories that are quite common among the Lappish population. Then, once we've got a handle on the snowshoes, we'll begin to walk through the forest in search of one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the world, the Northern Lights!
Throughout the route, we'll make several stops to contemplate this amazing dance of lights in the sky. Then, to warm up, we'll have a hot drink accompanied by a typical Finnish snack.
After our snack, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll leave the snowshoes. And, finally, we'll finish the tour at 10:30 pm back at your hotel.
