Discover the beautiful seabed of Santa Maria island with this beginner’s scuba dive. This is the perfect introduction to a brilliant sport and the amazing aquatic landscapes of the Azores.
At 8 am, we'll meet up at 473 Alto da Cruz Street in Vila do Porto. There, we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment for you to make your debut as a scuba diver. Then, we'll board the minibus that will take us to the port in Santa Maria.
Once there, we'll board a boat that will take us to the chosen location for the scuba dive. After some basic instructions, we'll dive into the water and descend to around 20 ft, where you'll observe the beautiful ecosystem of the Azores for 40 minutes. Corals, schools of tuna, volcanic rocks, and more await under the waves!
We'll then head back to the Marina of Vila do Porto and take you to the original meeting point to award you your PADI diving certificate. Finally, at 2 pm the activity will come to an end and we'll bid farewell.
