On this day trip to Altea, Villajoyosa, and Benidorm from Valencia, we'll explore three of the most enchanting towns in the province of Alicante that are sure to captivate you!
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point you select during the booking process, marking the beginning of a 1.5-hour journey to Villajoyosa.
Upon arrival, a guided tour of the city's historic center is first on the itinerary. We'll traverse its Renaissance walls, marvel at the architectural beauty, and pause in front of the church fortress of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. We'll take in the vibrant colors of Villajoyosa's houses, a distinctive feature of the town.
Then, we'll discover the cultural nuances of Villajoyosa, including the Arab and Christian festivities and the chocolate tradition. Curious to taste it? We'll visit the Chocolates Valor factory and savor this sweet delight.
Next on the agenda is Benidorm. We'll pause at the famous Mediterranean Balcony for some of the best views of the Costa Blanca. Did you know that in Benidorm, you'll find the highest number of skyscrapers per inhabitant in Europe?
We'll continue the journey to Altea, a town that draws lots of people. What makes it so appealing? We'll explore the small and picturesque fishing village and the blue dome of its church. We'll wander through cobblestone streets and along the promenade in search of the best panoramic views.
You'll then enjoy 2 hours of free time for lunch at a restaurant and further exploration of the town. Finally, we'll make a stop at the Russian Orthodox Church of Altea – a surprising find in the heart of the Mediterranean!
After 9 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to the initial meeting points.
