The White Dove and the Blue Pearl of Morrocco are the main sights to be seen on this private trip to Tétouan and Chefchaouen from Tangier. Discover a picture-perfect town and analyse the legends that are associated with northern Morrocco.
Description
At the scheduled time we'll pick you up from Tangier Harbour, your hotel or any central point in the city. On board the minibus, we'll make our way towards Tétouan, located just an hour and a half away by motorway.
Once we've arrived at our first destination of the day, we'll begin a guided tour of Tétouan. Did you know that the city is also known as the White Dove of Morocco? We'll discover why!
During the tour, we'll pass by its Medina, declared a World Heritage Site. We'll lose ourselves in this maze of narrow streets where we'll see colourful souks, mosques and old houses. We'll also talk about the changes that have occurred in this city from the time of the Spanish conquest to the present day.
Afterwards, we'll return to our vehicle and head towards the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, famous for the blue colour that its streets and houses are painted. Every corner of this city is photo-worthy! Accompanied by our guide, we'll visit Uta el-Hammam Square in the heart of the Medina. Here, the Great Mosque and the Kasbah are found, 2 of the most important monuments in the town.
In addition, you'll also have around an hour of free time so that you can grab a bite to eat at a restaurant in the area and visit the artisan shops. Will you be able to resist the urge to buy something?
After 10 hours together, the tour will come to an end back in Tangier.
