At the appointed time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Corte Anna winery, a 5-minute drive from Sirmione, to begin our tour of the facilities. Let's go!
We'll begin the tour with a pleasant walk through the vineyards. During the tour, you will see how the Turbiana grape grows in the clay soil that characterizes this area of Lake Garda, and we'll learn about the winery's philosophy, which focuses on respect for the environment and sustainable production.
Next, we'll enter the winery to immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of oenology. We'll learn step by step about the wine-making process, from harvesting and pressing the grapes to fermentation and aging. We will understand how the clay soil and careful production give Lugana wines their distinctive character and unparalleled elegance.
Next, we will move on to the tasting area, where we'll enjoy a wine tasting. Depending on the option you choose when booking, you will taste 3 or 5 different wines. The tasting includes at least two varieties of Lugana, one of which is from a previous vintage, so that you can appreciate the evolution of the wine. You will also taste a Cabernet red wine, which demonstrates the versatility of the vineyards.
To complement this sensory experience, we'll also offer you typical products from Brescia, specially selected to enhance the nuances of the wines. Cheeses, homemade jam, bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, artisanal cured meats, and preserved vegetables. Variety is the spice of life!
We'll finish the visit to the winery after a 2.5-hour tour.
