We'll meet at the indicated time at the clock on the corner of Real and 5th streets in the main square in Salento, and start this exciting experience. Ready to uncover the secrets of an ancestral game?
We'll head to a tejo court, where the festive atmosphere is evident from the moment we arrive. There, we'll enjoy a welcome shot while learning about the origins of this game, considered Colombia's national sport and played by the Muisca people for over 500 years.
During a game lasting about 2 hours, we'll learn how to throw the metal discs at the 'mechas', triangles that we have to make explode. Be sure to concentrate because skill and aim are essential in this game!
As tradition dictates, after the game, we'll sit down to rest and enjoy a beer or non-alcoholic drink, accompanied by a traditional snack of your choice: chorizo with arepa or empanadas. You'll love it!
The experience will continue at a nearby nightclub, where we'll bring the night to a spectacular close. There, you can enjoy a cocktail or beer while letting yourself be carried away by Latin rhythms, dancing, and the festive atmosphere.
