Let yourself be swept away by the most famous lagoons of São Miguel! We'll enjoy beautiful landscapes on this buggy tour through Sete Cidades, where we'll discover one of the most beautiful spots in the Azores.
At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 1D of Rua Nossa Senhora das Candeias. At this point on the island of São Miguel, located 10 minutes from the Rabo de Peixe, we'll go over some simple safety rules and gear up with all the necessary equipment.
Once prepared, we'll embark on an exciting buggy tour through one of the most beautiful areas of the largest island of the Azores. During the route, we'll cross asphalted and dirt roads that will allow us to get to know the most spectacular and wild side of São Miguel.
We'll move towards the west of the island, where we'll drive the buggies around Sete Cidades. The first stop will be at the Muro das Nove Janelas, a 19th century infrastructure perfectly integrated into the landscape. Next, we'll head towards the Pico da Cruz, from where we'll enjoy magnificent views of the lagoons of Sete Cidades: Azul, Verde and Santiago.
Continuing on, we'll enjoy the panoramic views of these lagoons from the Miradouro das Cumeeiras. After observing these extraordinary landscapes, we'll go down to the centre of Sete Cidades to have a closer look at its famous lagoons. You'll be in awe!
Finally, we'll leave Sete Cidades behind and start our way back. On our way, we'll make a brief stop at the natural pools of Poços de São Vicente. From there, we'll return to the meeting point, where we'll conclude this 3.5-hour activity.
