Don't leave Providencia without exploring its most beautiful natural area! Hop in a kayak and tour McBean Lagoon National Park, the paradise of Providencia.
McBean Lagoon Kayak Tour
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll head to McBean Lagoon National Park, the only nationally protected area in the Colombian Caribbean. This enclave has an area of 2,500 acres, 2,240 of which are marine.
Once we arrive at this paradise among mangroves, we'll set off on our activity. We'll gather our equipment and get into the kayaks to begin the tour of the park.
With the swaying of the waves, we'll begin paddling across the Caribbean Sea, and sheltered by the barrier reef we'll advance through the crystal-clear waters. We'll discover exuberant coral landscapes. Did you know that the park is home to the largest coral reef in the country?
We'll reach the lagoon, nestled in the heart of Providence Island. The mangroves are home to a rich biodiversity, and during the tour, we'll be able to get close to turtles, barracuda, and colorful fish.
After exploring the lagoon, we still have two more dazzling places to check out: Cayo Cangrejo and Cayo Tres Hermanos. Absolute paradise!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point 3 hours after the beginning of the activity.
