Benagil Cave Sunrise or Sunset Cruise

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the Portimão dock and board a sailboat to sail off on our sunrise or sunset cruise.

As we sail along the Atlantic Ocean, we'll share fascinating stories about the Arade River and the Algarve region. We'll admire the views of Santa Catarina Fortress, Ferragudo Castle, and picturesque fishing villages from the sea as we skirt southern Portugal's coastline.

We'll sail along the coastline of the Algarve while passing sea caves and cliffs. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as we may even spot dolphins swimming in these waters. If we're lucky, we'll try to get a closer look at them.

Next, we'll float into the famous Benagil caves, which can only be accessed by boat. We'll marvel at the oculus at the top, which creates a beautiful beam of light illuminating the sandy beach below.

After soaking up the breathtaking landscape inside the cave, we'll sail back to Portimão pier, arriving 1.5 hours later.

Important Info

Swimming and getting off the boat inside the caves is not allowed.
Sightings of dolphins and other marine species are not guaranteed.
The itinerary may be modified depending on the sea and weather conditions.
