Discover one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy on our day trip to Pompeii from Pisciotta. You'll feel like you're traveling through time!
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pisciotta or from the meeting point. Once we've all arrived, we'll set off for one of the most important archaeological sites for Italy's historic and artistic heritage: Pompeii.
When we get there, we'll set off on a route through some of the key parts of the archaeological site. This will include the Forum, the baths and the Building of Eumachia. We'll discover all the history behind this fascinating place, which was destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
After admiring the Basilica, the Lupanare and the Large Theatre, we'll head for the domus and the villas in the archaeological site. These constructions can show us how the wealthier social classes of the time lived, as the dwellings are incredibly well-preserved. You'll then have some free time to eat lunch and fuel up for the second part of our day trip.
Our day trip will finish after 7 hours when we arrive back at the starting point in Pisciotta.
