Between 7:30 am and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nice and set off for Castellane, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.
Our first stop will be the beautiful historical centre of Castellane for 30 minutes to enjoy the charm of its medieval streets, which seem to have been taken from a fairy tale. We'll also tell you about the historical link between this Provencal town and Napoleon Bonaparte himself.
The tour will continue to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in France. This picturesque town, located next to the famous Gorges du Verdon, is noted for its houses built at the foot of the mountains. After learning about the history of this town, you'll have 1 hour free for lunch and to enjoy Provencal gastronomy.
In the afternoon, we'll go to the Lac de Sainte-Croix, the third-largest lake in France, where you'll be surprised by its landscapes! Here, you'll have 1 hour or 1.5 hours to explore. You'll also be captivated by the Provence lavender fields, the last stop on the tour, where we'll spend half an hour.
Finally, at 5 pm, we'll return to your hotel in Nice.
The visit to the lavender fields only takes place from the end of June to mid-July.
