New York Christmas Movie Sites Tour
We'll meet at the designated time at Broadway & W 63rd St to begin this tour of the sites of New York's most famous Christmas movies. Are you ready to relive your favorite scenes? Let's go!
During Christmas time, New York transforms into a magical winter wonderland with lights illuminating its most emblematic monuments, colorful Christmas decorations throughout the streets, and powdery snow floating in the air.
To experience the magic, we'll get on a minibus and take a tour of the places where some of the most famous Christmas movies of all time were filmed. From Columbus Circle, we'll head to Central Park West, where the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off each year.
In this department store, we'll remember the appearance of Macy's in movies such as It's a Wonderful Life, Elf, or Mr. Popper's Penguins. Then, we'll continue this tour by heading to the Upper East Side's Bloomingdales, where we'll see the iconic New York Christmas windows and remember the best scenes of Serendipity!
Afterwards, we'll continue our tour through the heart of Manhattan until we reach Rockefeller Center, home of the world's most famous Christmas tree, which is a must-see for anyone who travels to New York at this time of year.
In the final stretch of the tour, we'll walk along Fifth Avenue, admiring the windows of the elegant Tiffany & Co. and Cartier stores and the St. Patrick's Cathedral.
After 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll say our goodbyes at the meeting point and end the tour.
