Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta, or we'll meet directly at Minca. This small town, considered the ecological capital of the Sierra Nevada, is home to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region and is the perfect place to start our adventure. Let's go!
From our meeting point, we'll board an off-roading vehicle that will take us along paths filled with flora and fauna, crossing the humid tropical jungle. Then, we'll start our hiking route. First, we'll walk for 20 minutes toward the Marinka Waterfalls 1 and 2, both standing at 98 ft (30 m) tall. You'll have the chance to take a dip for 1 hour in each waterfall and enjoy the environment surrounded by tropical jungle.
We'll continue our hike for 50 minutes toward the Oído del Mundo waterfall, a sacred space for indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada. You'll feel a complete connection in this site filled with symbolism.
After 1 hour of free time where you can swim in the waterfall's waters, we'll walk for 45 minutes to Casa Jocolate, where we'll enjoy a delicious homemade lunch with vegetarian and vegan options.
After lunch, we'll enjoy an artisanal chocolate workshop, an immersive and sensorial experience where you can activate all of your senses and connect with the essence of the Sierra Nevada. In this workshop, you'll taste Bailey's and caramelized cacao and create your own chocolate bar.
Finally, we'll return to the initial meeting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 8 to 9.5 hours.
