On this buggy tour of the Merzouga desert, we'll visit Morocco's arid lands while we feel the sound of the motor breaks the silence of the Sahara.
We'll meet at the scheduled time next to the Riad Azawad. There, the buggies will be waiting for us to hop in and take us on an hour-long journey around the Merzouga desert. Ready?
After learning how to drive the buggies, we'll get our helmets, gloves and goggles on and begin drifting through the dunes. Thousands of dunes that we can race across and traverse over await us. Pure adrenaline!
Throughout the tour, an instructor will explain some interesting facts about this inhospitable location to us. We'll visit the most beautiful corners of this golden landscape. Did you know that in this corner of the Sahara, temperatures can reach up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 Fahrenheit) in the shade?
The tour will come to an end by returning to the starting point.
