On our day trip to Santorini from Crete, we'll explore one of Greece's most beautiful volcanic islands. We'll also visit Oia and Fira during this unforgettable day.
On the day of the trip, we'll meet you at your chosen pickup point in Crete and take you to the departure pier. We can also meet you directly at the port of Heraklion.
Here, we'll board a boat that will take us to the port of Athinios on the island of Santorini. After a 2.5-hour crossing of the Aegean Sea, we'll reach this volcanic island, one of the most famous and coveted destinations in Greece. Let's explore it!
Once we disembark in Santorini, we'll board a bus, where the guide will explain the main details of the island. The first stop will be in Oia, where you'll have about 1.5 hours of free time. Did you know that it's one of the most emblematic villages of Santorini? You'll be able to explore its streets full of white houses with blue roofs, one of the most typical images of Greece!
Afterwards, we'll go to Fira, the capital of the island. For 1.5 hours, you'll be able to stroll through its streets and enjoy its delicious gastronomy. If you wish, you'll also have the opportunity to take a day trip to the volcano of Nea Kameni on your own, which will last 1.5 hours and will subtract from the total time of the tour, the time in Fira being 20 minutes.
In the afternoon, it will be time to return to the boat, which will take us from Santorini to Crete. We'll end the day trip in the port of Heraklion after 12 hours of activity. If you have chosen the pickup option, we'll take you back to your hotel from the pier of the Cretan capital.
Please note that on days with increased traffic, the order of the itinerary may vary, and the buses may first stop at Fira.
