Let the beautiful volcanic landscapes of Pico Island enchant you on our volcanoes and lakes tour. We'll explore stunning countryside areas scattered with picturesque lakes and green valleys.
Having met up at the indicated time at the Terminal Marítimo da Madalena, we'll set off from this western point on the island for the plains further inland.
During our journey, we'll cross a beautiful set of mountains and lakes that will give us an insight into the secrets of the island of Pico, full of volcanoes and craters. We'll stop at a viewpoint in the area to enjoy the views. Don't forget to take some photos!
Here, we'll stop for a tasty picnic lunch, which will include a sandwich or a salad plus fruit, a cereal bar, water and juice.
After eating, we'll continue the tour of Pico Island by visiting the Casa dos Vulcões Centre of Interpretation, where we'll learn about the volcanic activity
After this visit, we'll make our way to some of Pico Island's other lakes and volcanoes. These places, which are far from any busy cities, are perfect for taking in the beautiful scenery of the Azores.
We'll then return to the meeting point in Madalena, where we should arrive 8 hours after our departure.
