When purchasing your ticket, you'll have access to the museum's entire permanent collection on display that tells the story of the Seventh Art and the industry's evolution. Noteworthy exhibits include a few standout pieces like a Le Parvo 35 mm film camera that dates back to 1908, a painted background of Ancient Rome used on the film set of Spartacus in 1960, and an alien's head sculpture used in the 1979 classic film Alien.
During your visit, the main exhibits at the museum take you through the industry's history in Hollywood. As you move through the displays, you'll learn the origins of the film industry, what it looks like today, and what kind of future can we look forward to when it comes to cinema.
Additionally, before wrapping up your visit be sure to check out the rooms dedicated to the Oscars, historically held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 1929.
