On this fantastic day trip to the Cotswolds, we'll visit three of the area's most beautiful towns. Famous for their picturesque houses, surrounded by nature and countryside. This is the perfect area to visit to get a glimpse of English country life. Are you ready?
Burford
Often called the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’, Burford is one of the most visited villages in the area. We'll explore its famous High Street and take in views of the River Windrush.
There are plenty of photo opportunities and lots to see in this picturesque village!
Stow-on-the-Wold
Discover the timeless charm of Stow-on-the-Wold, a quaint market town perched atop a 244 m (800 ft) hill. With its deep-rooted medieval history, this former trading hub still draws visitors from around the globe to explore its cosy tea rooms, unique boutiques, and antique shops. Set against a backdrop of rolling countryside, it's an ideal spot for soaking up scenic views and capturing postcard-perfect photos. You'll love it!
Bourton-on-the-Water
The final village we'll visit is Bourton-on-the-Water. Also known as ‘the Venice of the Cotswolds villages’, this is probably the most famous village in the Cotswolds. It's also considered one of the most romantic areas in the country. You’ll have phenomenal views of the river that runs through the heart of the village.
In this village, we'll visit the incredible Model Village at the Old New Inn and see a replica of Bourton-on-the-Water as it was in 1937! We'll also stop here for a spot of lunch before heading back to London.
After an incredible 10 hours exploring a true gem in the heart of England, we'll return to the initial meeting point in London. See you again soon!
