Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up at your Las Vegas hotel and head east, entering the arid Arizona desert.
Along the way, we’ll pass the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and stop halfway so you can use the restroom and have breakfast on your own.
After about 4.5 hours on quiet roads, crossing the Mojave Desert and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, we’ll reach Grand Canyon National Park. Did you know it’s considered one of the main natural wonders of the world?
When we arrive, we’ll go to the south area of the Grand Canyon, commonly known as the South Rim and considered one of the most beautiful parts of the park. We’ll stop there to watch a spectacular sunrise. You’ll be amazed by the reddish color of the rock and the beautiful shapes carved over time by the Colorado River. You’ll enjoy unforgettable views from the many lookout points.
After watching the sunrise, we’ll continue with a 2.5-hour drive to Horseshoe Bend, where we’ll see one of the famous meanders of the Colorado River. Do you know how nature shaped such a fascinating place? We’ll discover its interesting geological history.
From Horseshoe Bend, we’ll take a short 15-minute drive to Antelope Canyon. Once there, we’ll visit this spectacular red sandstone gorge with a Navajo guide. It’ll captivate you instantly!
Next, we’ll pause for 1 hour so you can have lunch on your own. After eating, we’ll begin a 4.5-hour trip back to Las Vegas. Along the way, we’ll stop so you can use the restroom. We’ll also pause at Glen Canyon Dam, where you can take photos of Lake Powell.
We’ll end this 18-hour day trip by returning to your Las Vegas hotel.
