Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Las Vegas to begin exploring the surroundings of this city in the middle of the desert.
Our first stop of the day will be at the Seven Magic Mountains, a perfect example of contemporary art on the outskirts of Las Vegas. It's a collection of outdoor columns made from enormous rocks. The contrast between the colors of this construction and the ochre tones of the desert is truly striking. Don't forget to snap some photos!
Next, we'll visit Pioneer Saloon, the oldest tavern in southern Nevada. It was founded in 1913! Here, we'll learn the authentic history of the Wild West while admiring tin walls with real bullet holes. This saloon has also appeared in numerous films, videos, musicals and documentaries. You won't want to stop taking photos!
We'll continue through the Nevada desert towards the ghost town of Nelson. Did you know that this area was once known as El Dorado? The reason for this name was the rich gold reserves that the Spanish found in these lands back in the 18th century.
As we stroll through this abandoned village, we'll discover its tragic history. Murders, power struggles and shootings were commonplace in this town built next to the mines.
Finally, we'll return to the minibus and take you back to your hotel after a 5 to 7-hour day trip.
