On this day trip to Nisiros from Kos, you'll have the chance to see the so-called island of the black stones. We'll visit its volcano and the main town of the island– Mandraki.

Nisyros Day Trip

At the scheduled time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kos and head to the port of Kardamena, where we'll take the ferry to the island of Nisyros.

We'll sail for about an hour and, when we reach our destination, we'll head to one of the main attractions of the island– the famous volcano Nisyros. Once there, you'll have about 45 minutes to learn all the details of the crater and its formation. Did you know that its last eruption was in 1888? You'll also learn all about the boiling holes it still presents to this day.

After visiting the volcano of Nisyros, we'll take you to the island's main town, called Mandraki. Here we'll leave you two hours of free time to stroll around its streets, visit the Panagia Spiliani monastery and enjoy a delicious lunch in one of its restaurants – you'll have plenty of time!

Lastly, we'll take the ferry back to Kos, where we'll end the tour at your hotel after 8 hours of sightseeing.
