Join us for an electric cart tour of Gdansk, a one or two-hour eco-friendly exploration of the city known as the Amber Capital.
Description
We'll begin our journey by picking you up at your hotel in downtown Gdansk at the scheduled time. Are you ready to explore the Amber City? Let's embark on our adventure!
Our electric cart tour of Gdansk begins with a scenic drive through the city's most prominent historical landmarks. These include the Town Hall, Arthur's Court, and the Green Gate.
Next, we'll trace the old city walls, offering views of attractions like the Shakespeare Theater, the Prison Tower, the Golden Gate, and the High Gate. Throughout the tour, you'll learn about the city's significant role during World War II. Were you aware that it served as a Nazi party headquarters, contributing to the German invasion of Poland?
We'll continue our journey, passing by the Great Mill, once the largest water mill in medieval Europe, and the renowned shipyard where the Solidarity Union was born.
Our route will also lead us to the churches of Santa Catarina and Saint Bridget's, as well as the Basilica of Our Lady Mary, a striking red brick construction.
Our electric cart will ensure that we don't miss any of the city's captivating landmarks. We'll conclude the tour either by returning you to your centrally located Gdansk hotel or at another convenient point within the city center.
